Of course I am the one making requests. It was known that I would be working in Development around mid-December. Started working at the start of the year. Things still needed "adjusted" so that I could get work done in mid-January. Granted, things are busy and our IT department is a whole of two people (so I should probably be glad that I have an account on the computers at all).
The biggest issue so far was the phone ping-pong over one of the test units. I was the ball, Frank was a paddle on one end with his "call IT and have them give you access," and IT was the other paddle with "the security settings are correct, so ask Frank about it." That took forever to resolve.
The current situation between me and IT is stable. I can do my job and so I am not contacting them. Still can't access the messaging system on the phone and it identifies me as "Melissa" when I call people, but they can get around to that at their leisure.
