New Gameness! Whee!

chaeoticaTo commemorate my newest game... a new icon! So far, FF8 is pretty cool. The only thing that kills me is the freaking world map! I like having a top-down view, dang it! This POV stuff just gets me lost!
*cough*
Anyway, it's a fun game. At the point I'm at, though, I don't see how the lead (Squall) and the love-interest (Rinoa) are going to get together. No chemistry yet, and I'm almost halfway through the game. Then again, maybe I shouldn't have read the recap at Videogame Recaps (incidentally, that's where I got the icon) before I played; it could be messing with my ability to see these things. Hilarious site, but the humor's rather crude, so beware.
I'll eventually get around to reading & responding to you guys' posts. Honest!
